FinSource Limited Launching Intra-Company Football Tournament as Part of Annual Sports Program

At FinSource Limited, we believe that teamwork extends beyond office walls and into every sphere of life, including the sports field. With that spirit in mind, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the “FinSource Annual Sports Program”, a year-round initiative designed to promote wellness, unity, and spirited competition across our organization. As the first major event under this program, the much anticipated “Intra-Company Football Tournament” is set to kick off on May 30, 2025, bringing energy, excitement, and a renewed sense of camaraderie among colleagues. This year’s football tournament features “eight dynamic teams” representing various departments and units across the company: Lightning Lions, Tech Sloths, STP Warriors, Top-Heavy Squad, Retireds United, Vested Velocity, Catch-Up Strikers, and Fire Wolves  The event will begin with a series of friendly matches to build momentum and foster friendly rivalry, followed by practice rounds, group stages, and knockout matches, all leading up to the thrilling final showdowns. Matches will be held on Fridays to encourage maximum participation and support. 

Teams have been divided into two groups for the main tournament: 

Group A includes Lightning Lions, Tech Sloths, STP Warriors and Top-Heavy Squad

Group B includes Retireds United, Vested Velocity, Catch-Up Strikers and Fire Wolves

The group stage will consist of 12 competitive matches. All matches leading up to the semi-finals will take place at “Turf Nation, Tejgaon”, while the venues for the final and third-place matches will be announced mid-season. The FinSource Annual Sports Program will feature many more events and tournaments throughout the year, encompassing various sports and activities designed to engage and inspire everyone across the organization.
